Business Development Executive

We are seeking a highly organized, professional individual to work as a Business Development Executive. This position is primarily responsible for qualifying and converting new client leads and prospects into new client relationships for FPA to deliver our service offerings to all while adhering to the FPA Core Values.

Job Description

We are seeking someone with the following experience and skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to generate new client leads
  • Demonstrated ability to generate new client relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to develop trusted relationships with key decision makers within the SMB market segment
  • Ability to hold high level, strategic, business discussions with key stakeholders
  • Knowledge and experience within one or more of the following vertical markets: Investment Advisors, CPAs, Business Managers, or Manufacturers and Distributors
  • High level knowledge of the business lifecycle of businesses within the SMB market as well as their technology lifecycle
  • Core understanding and ability to communicate the benefits, value, and ROI for the Managed IT Service approach (ie: properly managed and maintained network infrastructure (ie: servers, workstations, and related network components))
  • Core understanding and ability to communicate strategic technology topics including Managed Services, Cybersecurity, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery along with the business benefits, value propositions, and ROI for each
  • Ability to successfully convert prospects into clients utilizing FPA’s service offerings
  • Ability to meet or exceed the established metrics for the position (ie: lead generation activities, sales activities, proposals presented, sales quotas, etc.)
  • Ability to effectively set prospect expectations re: delivery of professional services to ensure FPA meets or exceeds client expectations after becoming a client
  • Ability to consistently provide high quality, standardized, professional, and consultative approach to business development
  • Ability to consistently present FPA in the most professional light
