8 Technology Apps Everyone Should Use

Author: Craig Pollack Date: Jul 31, 2018 Topics: IT Services

Technology applications (technology apps) for smartphones and other mobile devices have become a part of everyday life for many users. The broad category of “mobile apps” can include tech apps for iPhone, Android devices, Windows, and other platforms.

There are many tech applications — with options ranging from recreational apps and fitness apps to entertainment and professional apps. In fact, there were 2.1 million iOS mobile apps available in the Apple App Store for iPhones, iPads, or both as of March 2018. And, that’s just Apple — Google Play is reported to have 3.6 million mobile apps available in its virtual store. While there may be some overlap between the two platforms, there also are apps that are created for just one platform or the other.

As IT services and IT security experts, we’ve put together a list of our favorite technology apps. We based our list of mobile apps on the usefulness of the tech apps, as well as the protections and data that they offer users when they’re on the go.
