Faye, Pollack & Associates, Inc. has
developed a link between Sage MAS 90 and 200 and industry
leading 3rd party shipping software packages like Clippership
and Pitney Bowes. The Shipping Department enters
the order number, ship date, ship-to address code, box
number, and item information and the FPA Shipping Integrator
automatically posts all necessary data to the shipping
software (Ship-to name and address, package value, carrier,
etc.). After the shipping software prints the shipping
labels and processes the package, the Integrator
automatically sends important shipping information back
to Sage MAS 90 and 200, including the shipped quantity per
item, the ship date, freight charges, tracking numbers,
etc. Through the use of the standard Sage MAS 90 and 200
Auto Generate Invoices function, the system can now automatically
generate invoices for all orders which have shipped.
In addition, all shipping information is now available
from Sage MAS 90 and 200 for a variety of reports.
