What is Abaca's Email Protection Gateway (EPG)?
Abaca’s EPG is an advanced email filtering system with a Microsoft Outlook plug-in and compatibility with all email servers (SMTP). This Gateway is an appliance designed to comprehensively protect your organization’s email server from viruses, spam, and phishing attacks. The Abaca software coupled with Abaca’s ReceiverNet Receiver Reputation System relies on highly effective, mathematical formulas to filter out unwanted and suspect messages and place them into quarantine. Not only does Abaca deliver 99% spam filtering accuracy and a near zero rate for false positives, but it creates a personal quarantine folder for each unique user in which suspect emails are rated and presented in order of lowest likelihood of spam or phishing content.

Configuring the filter correctly is the key to a successful implementation. We work directly with our clients to program the conditions and rules needed to filter the emails appropriately.
